A lettering plan/challenge is a great way to practice hand lettering or calligraphy with daily prompts and a community participating with you. My favorite thing about a scripture lettering challenge is it encourages you to get in the Word in a fun and creative way. And the prompts are daily, so you're building some consistency in Scripture which is the most powerful place to be.
When I created the hashtag
#letterfortheLord in 2015, I just wanted to post about Jesus and make much of him. Now there are over 6,000 posts using it, and hundreds of users.
I thought it was time to do a lettering plan with prompts to help you letter for the Lord and join together with a community!
Lettering for the Lord is a different way of approaching social media posting! Read more about what it means to "letter for the Lord"
here. I encourage you to give it a read. This is more about your mindset and your purpose in posting than anything else.
We'll start June 1, 2017, but if you're reading this after that date, feel free to start any time! You can always explore the hashtag on Instagram and encourage the other people in the community.
Here are the prompts for the challenge. Click the image below to download a PDF cheat sheet printable.
I look forward to seeing you and your posts in the hashtag!
With love and lettering,
